Major renovation of the rehabilitation department

In the spring of 2024, we took part in a high-impact modernization project aimed at enhancing the quality of medical services provided to children: the complete renovation of two key departments at the “V. Ignatenco” Municipal Children’s Clinical Hospital, located at 149 Grenoble Street, Chișinău.

About this project

The works focused on two distinct areas: the medical rehabilitation unit on the ground floor of Block A and the functional diagnostics unit on the ground floor of Block B. Our intervention addressed both the technical infrastructure and the design and spatial organization, ensuring compliance with current standards in the medical field.

The project involved complex operations, including the overhaul of water supply and sewage networks, modernization of electrical installations, replacement of the heating system, installation of ventilation and fire protection systems, automation, and implementation of communication and security networks. In addition, the interior spaces were redesigned and refurbished to accommodate patient flow and support efficient medical activity.

This initiative was carried out with the support of the German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ) in the Republic of Moldova and has led to significant improvements in the working conditions for medical staff, as well as increased comfort and safety for young patients.
